As I said earlier (and from my mobile ap, I’m sorry for the grammar issues!) I am deactivating my tumblr tonight. I’m finding that a lot of social websites are actually hurting my view of humanity and are actually putting me in an anti-social mood. People will say anything online because it’s safe. You’re a faceless wall of text. Posting political and religious opinions is pretty moot. I doubt anyone changed their opinion on their wold view because of an internet fight but people often change their opinion on whomever is reblogging or posting their own opinion. I do enjoy Tumblr for the comedy that it brings, the updates on fandoms, etc. but it’s nothing that a good google search will do. Honestly, it’s not worth it.
I’ll be vanishing from other sites as well, cutting away from the internet social scene because I feel that most places only work to provoke arguments rather than honest discussion. You can’t hear the tone of the other person, see the sincerity in their eyes, or reach out and touch someone. Most people will interpret a conversation as being hostile when it’s anything but.
Anyway, if you DO want to keep in contact, please send me an ask. I will have a blog up on blogger where I’ll post artwork, musings, and whatever. Just know this isn’t because of any one person. I just need to rid myself of sources of stress in my life.
