The media and politicians make me absolutely sick. The bodies of the poor victims of this crime haven’t even cooled yet and already they’re calling for gun control, more surveillance, etc. This man broke the law to do what he did. He used guns registered to his mother, murdered her, and proceeded to end more than a dozen young lives and ruin the lives of hundreds more. One more law would not have slowed him down.
Give the families some peace, support, and words of love. Don’t take the death of their loved ones and wave it around as a banner to further your Chicago-style politics. Where the hell is your humanity?
