It’s been something I’ve considered for a whole but I think it’s time I actually do it. More and more the Internet is showing a side of humanity that’s turning me into a bitter person. I feel like humanity is lost over the Internet because we can’t look eachother in the eye, have a discussion with gentle tones and gestures. Instead there’s sharp, insulting opinions being tossed about and honestly, a witty tumblr post insulting religion, morality , and values isn’t going to change anyone. It just makes your stance on things apparent and it makes other people angry. I’m not innocent of any of this but I realize that I have a short temper and my values come first. My faith comes first and I do not ignore insult or disrespect easily. I have no flight response when it comes to confrontation so walking away often means I stew on the problem. I won’t save someone online, I won’t be a good witness through Internet zings or conversation. I get laughs out of tumblr but it’s not worth it anymore.
So I’m putting a heads up now. Thank you to my followers and friends for the laughs!
