And I don’t mean you have to go into a relationship like “I’M GONNA HAVE HIS BABIES,” but if you agree to date someone, inherent in that is the acknowledgement that you could see yourself growing with this person and falling in love with them. It makes me so angry when people say “oh I just want a boyfriend for high school, just someone to hook up with, then we can break up for college!” You will end up having feelings for each other and get yourself into a horribly painful situation, or they will have feelings for you/you for them, and SOMEONE will get hurt. I have known SO many people who tried the whole ‘casual relationship’ thing, and it has not worked ONCE.
