Perseid Meteor Shower 2013
With a rate of 80 meteors/hour or more, this is something you definitely don’t want to miss. Meteors will appear all across the sky but will seem to radiate from the Perseus constellation. They will be visible all around the world, however, southern hemisphere viewers will see lower rates. There is also a smaller meteor shower peaking this weekend (around July 28).

Heck, I stood out on my apartment patio just now and saw five meteors… it’s even partially cloudy and there are like 3948573 parking lot lights blaring everywhere but they’re still visible. One streaked for several seconds tooo. yesss.

I will have to go outside and check this out. living in rural areas has so many benefits :)
