Maeth, son of the former tyrant of Cithal, has taken his father’s throne and seeks to restore the kingdom to an honorable, powerful nation once more. He’s ambitious, young, and he has a lot to handle. His father’s nation was run into ruin following an invasion and in the wake of the war, rauks have began populating the outskits and moving their way into the main cities.
I bounced between manga Studio and Photoshop for this one. The base was hand sketched with a mechanical pencil, the inking and shading was done in manga studio, and the base colors and background was done in photoshop. The background is extremely lame, I’m still working on those, but hey, I’m actually happy with the lines and most of the shading. Obviously, I have a very long way to go improvement-wise but I’m giving it an honest shot.
