Maybe I’m over thinking this, but I think that this little thing from the Poke’mon movie kind of hints at a new type. Eevee has his own little symbol there (normal type) but the new eeveelution has a pink egg-shaped symbol behind her. There’s a very solid theory running around that the new type is light and poke’mon like the clefairy line, chansey line, and the new eeveelution are all going to be included. It would make sense- they’re all fairy based.
