I’m returning to DeviantArt since… my emotions have kind of evened out to a numb, icy nothingness. It’s really nice not giving a damn about offending anyone anymore. I think that’s what I needed to come to terms with. And honestly, I’ll be holding myself to the same standard I think everyone should. If I don’t like someone, don’t watch them. If I am watching them and they turn out to be a jerk, unwatch them. If someone I watch, regardless of my friendship, starts posting stuff that I find offensive in any quantity, I’ll unwatch their uploads but retain them as friends. That way we’re still buddies, they can upload their offensive stuff, and I don’t have to know about it. Everyone wins.
And honestly, if someone starts picking a fight, I’ll ignore them. Block them. Move on with life.
Things are awesome when you develop a thick skin towards perverts and idiots.
