Most people will not read the Bible.
Most people that profess to be Christians have not and will not read the Bible.
There are people that profess to be Christians that believe in God, say they believe in Jesus, but will often appeal to the politically correct crowd by saying that they believe that good people can get to people without Jesus. They believe that the Bible is just a book written by man and so it’s full of out-dated material, laws, and morals.
These type of Christians may be true in their own faith and sincere in their love for Christ, but they are doing far more harm than good. Most of these Christians are more afraid of offending someone than they are of God or losing their loved ones.
If you believe that Jesus is Lord and profess to be a Christian, then how can you say that Jesus –lied- about the one and only way to redemption? His own words are that he is the only way. He died to save sinners, even those that most would say are ‘good people’. You can’t have your cake and eat it too; Jesus himself was not a fan of lukewarm Christians that straddled the fence in an attempt to appeal to everyone, offend no one, and keep themselves safe from scrutiny.
