Just posting this for anyone who’s childhood hope was to see Jessie and James get together in the anime!
The creator of the original poke’mon cast never wanted the anime to go the way it did. Poke’mon Adventures (a manga you can read online for free!) is his original vision for the show. It’s dark, it grows up with the audience, and it really is an awesome story. Especially compared to the “what the hell” mess that the anime became.
