I loved Scar as a kid because he was deliciously evil.
Yes, I did still hate him for killing Mufasa but he was just… so… urgh, loved him ;_;
But then I always love a villain in a movie XDD
I always liked that despite the film depicted him as a physically weak, ‘small’, basically nonthreatening dude (specially when you get that one scene where you see him and Mufasa together and you KNOW Mufasa could beat the crap out of him easily) and….
Well.
He turns out to be a formidable foe. Doesn’t even do this by physically overpowering anyone. Just by being a cunning, manipulative asshole (with severe issues because boy does he have issues).
I duuno. I always liked, even back then, that it was the small, nonthreatening lion guy that pulled the rug out from bellow everyone else.
Maybe I’m odd though.
For Dusty because she needs a dose of Scar today. XD
